One of the most ancient fears is the fear of hunger. But hunger itself is a great blessing, in particular, I’m talking about a raw food diet.

Living on a “farm,” and our modern society cannot be called anything else, we have forgotten how to feel hunger. People are no longer hungry. At every step, at the first call of our womb, multi-colored “feeders” are ready to feed us with all kinds of food. In this regard, we spoiled ourselves. Even homeless, dirty children beggars on the streets of big cities, who ask us to give us money for bread, are indignant when they receive this very bread instead of money.

This is why it is so difficult to remain a raw foodist and not “break down”. Failures during a raw food diet, oddly enough, do not occur due to a lack of food or nutrients in it, they arise due to satiety. What I am writing now is simple to the point of banality, but it cannot be comprehended with the mind, it can only be felt. Just don’t go to extremes and subject your body to long, multi-day hunger strikes!

Everything is much simpler. All of us, without exception, experience false hunger.. We feel it as discomfort in the stomach, bad mood, irritability. This is a signal for us to start eating. However, this is not true.

And this is the hardest thing. It is impossible to survive this withdrawal while being alone with yourself. In such a situation, the only thing that helps me is to go headlong into work. It helps to take your mind off things. After some time, this abnormal (abnormal) feeling of false hunger will pass. I'll clarify right away. Under no circumstances should you dull the feeling of hunger with water, believe me, it will only make things worse.

A raw foodist's stomach is almost always empty. It takes time to get used to this feeling. Fasting and raw food diet are inseparable companions. But it is wrong to believe that a raw foodist always wants to eat. Hunger is pleasant for a raw foodist. The feeling of hunger is a pleasant feeling. Feeling of lightness in the body. While in this state, a couple of fruits are enough to satisfy your hunger. And that's it - the body is full. Then a false famine begins, or what is called “zhor” among raw foodists...

Somewhat earlier, I was sure that fasting for half a day would be enough to overcome false hunger, but now I have come to the conclusion that this period is not enough. Moreover, by deliberately depriving myself of the opportunity to quickly get food (for example, by continuing to work during my lunch break) and by starting to listen to my body, I began to notice that sometimes I didn’t feel like eating for the whole day. If the day before you indulged your appetite. For example, the day before I ate a lot of nuts or a couple of kilos of apples.

When the feeling of false hunger passes, then the craving for dead food mysteriously disappears. I don’t even want dried fruits and nuts. On the contrary, you begin to enjoy eating fruits. Even an ordinary apple becomes incredibly tasty. It feels like I have never tasted anything tastier in my life. Over time, the discomfort in the stomach goes away.

No more of these unpleasant sensations. There is no longer a craving for “matrix” food; feeders with food are no longer attractive. By overeating on fruits, nuts and dried fruits, you can become a raw foodist, but this process will take many years. For many years you will have to fight the cravings, taste this or that disgusting... This is the price to pay for the confidence that fasting, like raw food diet, extreme measures.

And then the circle closed. Again we are back to fears. We are afraid to become healthy because we are told that a raw food diet can be harmful. We are afraid to eat raw food because we are afraid of hunger. The feeling of hunger forces us to chew something every minute of our lives, forcing all internal organs to work continuously. Alexander Chuprun in the book “What is a raw food diet and how to become a raw foodist (naturist)” writes: “During crises, it is necessary, according to naturopathic canons, to remove protein products from the diet, and even starchy ones too, leaving only fruits and juices. If the crisis is acute and the malaise is severe, then complete fasting is best. It’s not for nothing that the naturist proverb says: “If you don’t know how to starve, you won’t become a naturist.”

4. No matter how wonderful a raw food diet is, not a single person in the world can say with confidence that they eat vegetables and fruits that are absolutely free from various chemicals. Nowadays it is almost impossible to get them, except by growing them in your own garden. Meanwhile, poisons, including heavy metals, are deposited in tissues and poison the body for years. Dry fasting can help remove them! Moreover, we were not always raw foodists. For years we have been eating unhealthy, poisoned food, and getting rid of it is not as easy as it seems. Negative emotions and a polluted environment (water and air) also do not add to a person’s health.

5.Dry hunger removes adaptations and habits. After it, it is easier to adapt to any new mode of life: quit drinking, smoking, eating anything, etc. This is the fastest and most effective way to change yourself, “change your skin,” change your value priorities and come out a renewed person.

By learning to practice fasting correctly and switching to a raw food diet, over time you will get a young healthy body, tirelessness, attractiveness, clarity of mind and a great mood.

Unity with nature through walking barefoot in the dew, through swimming in mountain streams, lying on the ground, through hiking in the mountains, especially to Goverla! - this gives some kind of indescribable delight, and on the 8th day I had my apogee, when a state of happiness overwhelmed me and I stayed in it all day, swimming in waterfalls and hiking under the scorching sun.
  5. Everyday morning exercises, forcing you to be in good shape and not lose strength despite the lack of food and water.

All this together gave me a powerful reboot and the desire to live to the fullest!”
