Attunements are the basis of Usui's method of natural healing. Reiki is the Japanese name for the life force energy of the Universe, something we all possess from birth. Anyone can place their hands on another person and transfer magnetic life force energy to them. The attunement process, which can be represented as a series of initiations (initiations), during which the Reiki Master, using very ancient “Tibetan technology,” transfers energy to the student in an enhanced form, makes the Usui system unique. The 2nd stage places greater emphasis on tuning the etheric body compared to the physical body, which is the focus of the 1st stage. You become a healer when you receive attunement. Reiki attunement opens the Hara Line and increases its ability to hold Ki energy, as well as clears energy blockages from the channels.

The attunement cleanses and balances the chakras of the Har Line, as well as the chakras of the etheric double. During the attunement, Heavenly Ki, which includes the five symbols of Reiki, moves from the Crown Chakra to the Heart of the recipient. Earthly Ki, passing through the legs and lower Hara centers, also rushes to the Heart. Some of us enjoy learning Reiki in a large group setting, while others prefer to do it individually. Both paths are perfectly acceptable, but in my experience as a Reiki student and teacher, the second path is preferable. The soulful vibrations of personal initiation are more difficult to reconcile in a large group (but that is what I personally prefer). In addition, neither the cost nor the location of the Reiki initiation should be a deciding factor. It happens that you have to travel a little further and pay a little more or, conversely, a little less.
In any case, remember:
A Reiki teacher who declares “MY” Reiki is better than “anyone else’s” Reiki has not yet understood Reiki and cannot convey the spirit of Reiki to the student.
Reiki teachers who promise that serious illnesses such as AIDS, cancer or mental illness will disappear after initiation are best avoided. I have heard of such irresponsible people making such statements.
Some Reiki schools do not accept students who have received initiation in another school, and offer to start again from scratch (that is, from the First Degree). Others, like us, don't think much of it and simply test the earlier steps to eliminate the differences.

Some of you have not attended a single seminar of your Teacher over the past period from receiving initiation to level 3-B.
