Summer is a favorable period for preschoolers to improve their health. You can spend more time in the air, play, strengthen yourself and enjoy: fresh air, sun rays and warm, gentle water. In kindergarten, summer health activities were carried out in the younger group. The group was attended by 20 children.

We have set ourselves the following tasks for summer health work:

1. Create conditions that ensure the protection of the life and health of children, the prevention of morbidity and injury.

2. Implement a system of measures aimed at the health and physical development of children, their moral education, the development of curiosity and cognitive activity, the formation of cultural, hygienic and labor skills.

3. Carry out pedagogical and health education of parents on the issues of raising and improving the health of children in the summer.

Work during the summer period was carried out in the following areas: educational work, health promotion, work with parents.

The group has developed a daily routine according to the summer period: morning reception and exercises in the air, walks for at least 4 hours, hardening activities: sunbathing, children being naked, dousing feet before bed, dousing hands up to the elbows, increasing sleep time, vitamin supplementation and caloric intake nutrition, physical exercise, drinking regime was observed, sand in sandboxes was processed every day, and grass was mowed in a timely manner. But the weather did not allow everything to be realized, so more time was devoted to outdoor play activities: outdoor games, story games on various topics, didactic games. A lot of time was devoted to reading fiction: fairy tales, riddles, learning poetry.

Consultations have been prepared for parents:

- “Safe behavior near bodies of water”

A corner “This is what our summer is like” has been created, where material about hardening, riddles, proverbs, and poems for children to memorize about summer are placed.

Other interesting events also took place: theaters, entertainment, watching cartoons in rainy weather and many others according to the plan.

Observations were constantly carried out in nature, where they learned a lot of interesting things about the life of plants, insects, and birds.

Together with the children, we planted a small flower garden (petunias), took care of it: watered the flowers, watched the plants grow, and weeded the weeds.

Experimental activities were carried out: conducting tests and experiments to study the properties of water and sand.

As a result of the work carried out, the incidence of children's illnesses decreased and the physical and mental condition of preschoolers improved. Children have become more active, friendly, inquisitive and sociable.

To solve health problems, the following work was carried out:

In order to organize a water and drinking regime, our group had individual mugs for children, a kettle, and chilled boiled water; when organizing hardening procedures - individual towels for hands and feet.

To create safe conditions for children to stay in the preschool educational institution, the serviceability of the equipment on the exercise area was checked daily, and the area was inspected before the walk for the presence of objects dangerous to children (nails, broken glass, dug holes, etc.). With the onset of the hot period, in order to avoid overheating, the pupils wore hats only during walks; preschoolers' exposure to direct sunlight alternated with games in the shade; the group had a first aid kit.

In order to organize physical education and health work in the summer, our group switched to a daily routine in accordance with the warm period of the year (walk - 4.5 hours, sleep - up to 3 hours). Morning exercises were carried out in the air, children were hardened: air baths, walking barefoot along the health path, washing, dousing their feet, sleeping without T-shirts. Vitaminization of dishes was carried out - an abundance of fruits and vegetables in the diet of pupils.

The outdoor play equipment was replenished and updated with shovels, buckets, molds for playing with sand, cars, and all structures were repainted with the help of parents. Also, with the help of parents, a health path for barefoot walking was made.

All educational work was carried out in accordance with comprehensive thematic planning for the summer period. Each week was dedicated to a specific topic, each day of the week had its own name. In the morning there was a conversation on the topic of the day and all the games, walks, observations, reading fiction, watching cartoons also corresponded to this topic.

We took part in general kindergarten events: a holiday in honor of Children’s Day, “Sabantuy”, “Karabas-Barabas Theatre”, “Physical Education Day”, the campaigns “Help get ready for school”, “Help your kindergarten”, “Give a second life to a book” , in the review-competition of benches.

A creative and research project “Don’t hurt the ant” was implemented, in which parents took an active part.

In the garden, peas, lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers were planted in designated beds. The children enjoyed caring for the plants all summer and watching them grow.

Work was carried out with parents: consultations “Games with children on vacation in the summer”, “Feeding a child in the summer”, “Safety of children on the roads”, a memo “How to sunbathe properly”.

To improve the health of children, we used various means of physical education in a complex: a rational regimen, nutrition, hardening, various types of physical activity (morning exercises, physical exercises, developmental exercises, sports games, leisure, sports activities).

By the beginning of the school year, we have prepared a developmental environment, which plays a special role in strengthening the child’s health, his comprehensive physical and mental development, which allows children, in accordance with their interests and desires, to study freely at the same time, without interfering with each other, different types of activities.

Our group's reception area was renovated with the help of our parents, making it very cozy and elegant!

Thus, in our group, we have created a favorable environment for children in order to demonstrate motor, play and intellectual activity and satisfy interest in a variety of activities.

Summer for children is the best time of the year, a time for relaxation. When you can be in the air more, play, toughen up, and fully enjoy its gifts: fresh air, sun rays and warm, gentle water.
And to make this vacation interesting and useful for children, in May a project was developed to organize a summer vacation “Ah, this bright world of summer!” The project was implemented through the following types of activities: physical development and hardening, cognitive development, organization of work activities, organization of play activities, environmental development and organization of experimental activities, productive activities through visual creativity. Parents also helped to implement it.
By the beginning of the summer season, we had tidied up our site and the surrounding area. With the help of the parents, the buildings were painted, the outdoor equipment was brought into proper shape, the sand in the sandbox was replaced, the area was replenished with various buildings and decorated in a new way.
Flowers were planted in the flowerbeds, lettuce and peas were planted in the garden, which were cared for together with the children: watering, weeding, loosening the soil. Children learned how to properly hold a watering can and water plants.
Throughout the summer period, our group regularly carried out health-improving work and carried out hardening activities. Every morning began with morning exercises in the fresh air to the cheerful, rhythmic melody of children's songs, which charged them with cheerfulness and energy for the coming day, and lifted the children's spirits.
During the day, various types of hardening were carried out: air baths, sunbathing, walking barefoot on the sand, gymnastics after sleep, breathing exercises, physical education, walking barefoot on the floor, massage paths, washing with cool water, outdoor games and exercises during the day, air and sunbathing. A health path and a water and sand area were organized at the site, where children walked barefoot on the sun-heated sand and then dipped their feet in cool water. To prevent flat feet, we used walking along the health path we organized at the site; exercises and games to prevent flat feet were included in morning exercises.
An ecological trail has been laid on the territory of our kindergarten. We compiled a route map, along which the children periodically took walks; depending on the station they visited, the children, together with their teachers, observed the life of insects, birds, the growth and development of plants, and examined natural resources. Traveling along an ecological trail has always evoked a lot of emotions in children.
A health corner was set up for the parents in the group, consultations were held on “Summertime to toughen up”, “How interesting it is to organize a summer holiday with your child in nature”, “Be careful on the street”, and reminders for parents.
Conditions were created to increase the physical activity of children in the fresh air, individual and subgroup work was carried out with children to develop basic movements while walking.
The summer days were full of exciting, educational events: “Children’s Day”, “Sun, air and water are our best friends!” Fairy tales and puppet theaters were organized and shown for the pupils by artists of the Mordovian puppet theater “Kroshka”.
During the summer, the children and I sang songs about summer, learned poems, nursery rhymes, chants, and new games with water.

The success of summer work is determined, first of all, by how timely the staff of the child care institution prepares for it. So, in our team, pedagogical councils were held to prepare for the summer season. An action plan has been developed for the most effective work with children in the summer. Work was carried out to prepare equipment, select toys and aids necessary for the life and various activities of children, taking into account the maximum exposure of children to the air.

The problem of preserving the health of preschool children is very relevant. It is of particular importance in our region, with cold winters and cool summers. This year our children were especially pleased with the summer.

Preschool teachers made every effort to organize physical education and health activities during the summer.

The morning at the preschool educational institution, under favorable climatic conditions, began with gymnastics in the fresh air to cheerful music.

According to tradition, on June 1, the musical festival “International Children’s Day” was held; children from the preparatory group performed and took part in a play program in the city square. And for the children of the younger group, a competition of drawings on the asphalt “Hello, Summer!”, fun with soap bubbles, and sports competitions were organized.

Teachers of age groups took an active part in organizing and conducting summer leisure activities.
